The second annual MPL Indoor 7s tournament is booked for SUNDAY MARCH 30, 2008  from 4 to 6 pm at BMO Field, Exhibition Place . The clubs hope to build on last years’ very successful tournament, won by the Irish Canadians over Nomads in the final, after the pool leaders Aurora were upset by Nomads in the semi-final.

The feedback from players and coaches last year was very positive, as the tournament is seen as a way to kick start the off season training regimen, look at players in game situations and assess strengths and areas of improvement some six weeks ahead of the MPL league opener in early May.

The field is enclosed by a bubble but allows full field play on a Field Turf Surface. . BMO Field is of course home to Toronto FC of Major League Soccer and is located on the Exhibition grounds in downtown Toronto .

The four confirmed clubs will play 3 games each, with the winner being the team with: 1) the best won-lost record; 2) in the event of a tie, champion declared by most tries; 3) if still tied, the difference between tries for and against. There will be no kicks at goal.

Each team is permitted 13 players maximum on their roster (all must be registered with RO).
